Peek-a-Boo Summer Makeup

Summer is here which means... hot weather and humid in some parts of the world. I am sure nobody wants to cake on 10 pounds of makeup and have it sweat off in the middle of the day...yuck! Today I created a light weight, sweat proof, and natural looking FOTD... perfect for the Summer.  Almost all of the makeup I used are waterproof, sweatproof, and contains SPF.

**Remember to draw on eyeliner on upper waterline instead of on your eyelids-- this will make you look like you are not wearing any eyeliner and helps thicken your eyelashes.
** Use shimmering earthy or light colored eyeshadows up to the crease of your eyes, you want to make your eyes pop without showing you are wearing a lot of makeup.
** curl eye lashes and put on a thin layer of mascara.

** put on some big nerdy glasses to cover up those lazy panda eyes.
** Use a nude matte lipstick to help draw attention to your eyes.

**YUMMY... this is the Giant Chupa Chups lollipop I got during my trip to Japan!!!

** I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEUTROGENA'S SPECTRUM+  FACE SUNBLOCK. I have been using it for the past 3 weeks. I don't have any complains and it's definitely added to my summer holy grail products. There is no nasty sunblock smell,  it is nonsticky + nongreasy, and it is SPF 100+ (the highest on the market today)!

XXIV: in celebration of my recovery from a disease called youth

Time is passing by so fast these days! I can't believe I am already 24~ So last weekend I had a birthday picnic with some of my friends and everyone was to wear a D.I.Y. apron and bring some homemade grub. The Apron I made for me and Mr. Raw shows him bending over to kiss me with cake behind his back and the background is a sakura tree. Everyone brought soo much food; BBQ Ribs, fruit salad, potato salad, Oysters, Sushi, Hot dogs, Korean Kalbi Sauce Burgers, Korean Noodles, Garlic Noodles, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Imitation Shark Fin Soup, Strawberry Cupcakes, endless fountain of lemonade, jello-shots, beer, etc. We had a big freaken fest!  Mr. Raw brought me a delicious Tiramisu Mousse Cake. I can probably eat that everyday and not care if I gain weight cuz its THAT GOOD! lol We ended the day playing King's Cup. Great birthday indeed thanks to some awesome friends ^_^

2pm X WonderGirls X Mishi

Are you guys a fan of 2pm and wondergirls?!?!?! I hope you are!

It's been a few years since I've last seen Khun...I can't believe in just 3 years he's become this big pop star but he is still the same chill and down to earth guy I've known him to be. Since I havn't had the chance to go to Korea, I'm glad he was on tour with 2pm and the wondergirls. 2pm was opening for WG but this was their last show, in the next few tour dates, 2am will replace 2pm.

The concert was suppose to start at 3pm but when we got there around 1, the line was around wrapped around the block; but we were lucky enough to get inside with out all access passes and hang out backstage and watch the show from the balcony. The crowd was crazy, I would've totally gotten trampled over by all the teeny-boppers. I thought it would be a total Korean convention but to my surprise, the crowd was really mixed. There were a lot of kids too, I felt like such an aunty compared to those fans. LOL

The show was pretty good but kind of short too; nonetheless, I enjoyed every moment of it.

I shall continue my Japan Trip updates the next few entries. Stay Tuned ^_^

I am Back!-- Day 1 and 2 of Japan

Wooo-weEee it's been a long time since I blogged. I just got back from my trip to Japan, still recovering from what's left of my jet lag. So I guess I will do daily blogs about my Japan trip for the next week or so since I took so many pictures.

This trip was a backpacking trip with my bf--Raw, my chewcup bff--Lo, and Lo's bf--Calvin. We took a flight out of SFO to Vancouver then straight to Narita. Since our first stop is Kyoto, we had to hop on the shikansen. We literally spent 24 hours traveling before reaching our hostel in Kyoto. The hostel was really nice... a lot better than I expected. If you guys ever want to check it out it is called K's house; they have hostels in a few cities in Japan.

Day 1: Arrived in Kyoto around 10pm, dropped off our luggage and headed straight to a well-known ramen place nearby. The ramen there is freaken amazing! We had to stand in line for about 30min before going in but it was all worth it.

Day 2: Ate gyudon for 250yen near the hostel for breakfast... it was delicious and hella cheap! Explored Nara and Umeda, went to Nara park to feed deers, Todaiji temple, and had dinner at Ippudo Ramen in Umeda. The ramen there was not as good as the Ramen place in Kyoto.

*green tea ice cream is soooooooo yummy~*
