HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my blog! Mishi à la mode is finally 1 year old!~ It has been quite a journal since I started in 2010 but it definitely has been a pleasure getting to know all my followers through their blogs and comments. I probably can not survive without surfing blogs or updating mine for a day...this is truly an addictive habit.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me too! It so happens that this month is also my birthday...I am growing into such a old fart. You notice that you have reached a certain age when you begin to share stories and reminisce on good times with a sentences that begin with "remember 10 years ago...." or "back in the days...." or try to make a point to your younger siblings with "when I was your age..." >_<
Every birthday there seems to be a milestone or perks for reaching it; 13 was when you FINALLY became a teenager, 16 was suppose to be the sweetest year of your life, 18 was when you became legal and was old enough to smoke cigs, buy porn, and vote (not that i did any of that *teehee*), 21 was when were old enough to drink (legally).... and well turning 25...What would be the perk of that you ask? ... besides people telling you that you're a quarter century old or your just ONLY 5 more years away from turning 30 *GASP*, I guess the only thing that I am looking forward to is getting a good rate for car rentals and a lower premium for my car insurance. yup, that's all the excitement I could get out of turning 25.
